Valley of Fire

Whether for work or for fun, my wife and I frequently take road trips from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. But it wasn’t until a couple years back that we discovered the hidden gem of Nevada’s Valley of Fire State Park. Only an hour and a half from the Strip, it contains some of the most unique landscapes I’ve seen.

It’s a fairly small park–you can drive the length of it easily in one day, seeing a lot of the highlights. However, I’d definitely recommend making this at least a 2-3 day adventure if you really want to soak in all this place has to offer.
